The “One Hot Cookie®” was a legend to all lucky guests visiting our family. Long before the restaurant bearing its name was opened, it all started with an innovative Mother, who loved to bake but was short on time. Enter the technology era of the ‘60’s. As we all know, necessity is the mother of invention, and boy did this mother invent. The culmination of a super Hot “Electronic Oven” and a secret family recipe—the “One Hot Cookie” was born.

Visitors from far and wide heard of the legend of the One Hot Cookie and would visit expecting dough to be prepared upon their arrival. Batch after batch they were never disappointed. For years we were told we should open a bakery featuring this amazing/innovative product that the world had never previously had the pleasure of experiencing. But by the time this mother had any free time, she was already the Grandmother and it’s now for the next generation to share with the world.

For over 40 years, this recipe remained our family’s decadent secret. Then in 2004, the first One Hot Cookie® was born as a Dessert Café in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. One Hot Cookie™ aims to be a cornerstone in any community creating a unique ambience where customers feel comfortable and become instant regulars.
